Repeater
Wireless repeater technically works as station and as access point at the same time. It can extend the wireless zone taking a signal from base access point and delivering it to uncovered area. Thus way coverage can be increased without additional network gateway. Wireless repeater usually requires omni-directional antenna and can be mobile. This solution can be as indoor and as outdoor. Wireless repeated/extended network can have the same or different security settings from base AP.
